The simple and straightforward design is emphasised by the choice of colours and blends in well with the interior. Verner Panton was born in Funen in 1926 and died in Copenhagen in 1998. In the 1960s, he was considered a style-defining designer, known for his preference for plastic and bold colours.
Panton also drew inspiration from nature and expressed this in some of his works. Today, the Danish company VERPAN produces Verner Panton's works and provides them with a certificate of authenticity and the designer's engraved signature.
