4K UHD - Luc Besson's stylish, sci-fi action movie takes elements of The Matrix, Akira, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Inception, and a million other genre flicks and blends them into something unique and powerful. Scarlett Johansson stars as the title character whose adventure begins when she is accidently dosed with a drug that removes all of her mental limitations. Suddenly Lucy is telekinetic, telepathic, able to turn pain off at will, and possesses an advanced fighting ability - in other words, she goes total superhero.
Far from a typical action movie, Lucy is surprisingly introspective and philosophical. It's that rare, big-budget movie that aims to make you think, while keeping you on the edge of your seat with amazing action set pieces and top-notch CGI effects.
