However, the contrasting colour of the lampshade gives it a fresh look and makes the construction appear light and weightless.
The energy-saving LEDs are attached to the underside of the lampshade and provide pleasant and cosy lighting with warm white light, which is dimmable to suit your preferences and can be adapted to any situation. The integrated plastic diffuser distributes the light gently, evenly and glare-free throughout the room. The Asteria Table can be used as a light source for your desk, as a bedside table lamp or to provide stylish lighting in your living and dining areas, and as a decorative interior design element to give the room a subtle Scandinavian touch.
The light also has a USB port that can be used to charge your mobile phone, for example – even when it is switched off. The Danish lighting company UMAGE by VITA copenhagen was founded in 2008 by the current CEO, Jacob Nannestad Hansen, and the designer and Chief Creative Developer, Søren Ravn Christensen.
