The Stanley FatMax 25mm (1in) Bevel Edge Chisel is a full one-inch width, making it ideal for substantial carpentry work, larger mortising, and applications requiring efficient removal of significant material. With an overall length of 155mm, this chisel provides enhanced reach and leverage for demanding tasks in both workshop and site environments. The thru tang construction features a friction welded bolster that ensures maximum strength and durability, whilst the ergonomic soft grip handle delivers comfort and control during extended use.
The 25mm width is particularly valuable for heavy-duty mortising, large lock fittings, and general purpose carpentry work on substantial timber. The ISO Standard blade is constructed from high quality ball bearing grade steel EN31, fully ground and finished for ultimate sharpness. The steel striking cap allows for use with steel hammers when additional cutting force is required, and the shatterproof polymer body resists most solvents for long-lasting performance.
