Part A Full Grain Cowhide 4mm of full grain cowhide cut from a single hide. The natural surface is left intact, so what you see is the real grain, not pressed pattern on bonded scrap. The inside softens against your dog's coat as it breaks in.
The outside ages into something better than it started. Part B Solid Brass Spikes 30mm cone tipped spikes machined from solid brass. Not plated, not hollow, not cast in pot metal.
Each one is set through the full thickness of the leather by hand and clinched flat on the back, so it stays where it was set for as long as the collar lasts. Part C Brass Buckle and D Ring Roller buckle and welded D ring, solid brass throughout. The D ring is welded shut, so it cannot pop open under a hard pull.
