Artist Statement: Admissionem is latin for admission. The concept for this piece was on my mind for quite some time, a contemplation on how we face adversity. Hatred creates only more hatred, fear creates only more fear.
We can only meet these emotions with graceful peace and responsible calmness. No adversary we face is so powerful as our own selves. We possess the strength to decrease the power of any hardship with acceptance, calm observation, and love.

He started a long lasting career in theaters and films as an actor before he turned to illustration to create the stories he wanted to tell. Máté currently works as a freelance illustrator.
