This gourmet artisanal finishing salt is harvested off the northern coast of France using centuries-old sustainable, traditional methods. Fleur de sel is immaculately white since the salt crystals form on the surface of the illets (tidal pools) and are carefully and laboriously skimmed by hand and collected without coming in contact with the grey clay silt. This bright white treasure is comprised of snow-like crystals and has a slight hint of violets.
