This 115mm diameter, 60 grit flap disc offers versatile medium-coarse abrasion for a wide range of metalwork applications. The 60 grit abrasive strikes an excellent balance between material removal and surface finish, making it ideal for general purpose grinding, moderate derusting, weld blending and preparing surfaces for further finishing. Constructed from aluminium oxide with epoxy-bonded flaps attached to a rigid disc, this flap disc requires no backing pad and is ready to use immediately.
The depressed centre design ensures safe, controlled operation whilst providing excellent access to difficult areas. Compatible with both electric and air-powered angle grinders, it's perfect for descaling, derusting, weld preparation, weld cleaning and general surface preparation tasks.
