PureTools PT-HDBT-100 4K HDMI HDBaseT Extender SetThe HDMI via HDBaseT extender set PT-HDBT-100 transmits HDMI signals with 4K resolution (max. 60Hz at 4:2:0) over a distance up to 40 meters or with FullHD / 1080p resolution up to 70 meters. HDCP 2.2.
The system supports bidirectional transmission (pass-through) of IR and RS232 signals for an easy control of remote devices. With the convenient DIP switch on the front panel. the RS232 modes "Control" and "Update" can easily be selected. Thanks to the bidirectional PoC support. only one of the two devices (transmitter or receiver) needs to be powered at a time.
Both devices are connected with a conventional Cat. 60Hz at 4:2:0 color subsampling or up to 70 meters for FullHD / 1080p resolutions. The system supports bidirectional PoC (Power over Cat) power supply.
This means that only one of the two devices needs to be powered using the included PSU and the other device will be directly powered via the HDBaseT Cat connection. This saves power supplies and keeps things tidy. thanks to less cable clutter in one of the two locations. The included bidirectional pass-through of IR and RS232 signals allows control of connected devices from the respective other location.
Simply connect the RS232 control device (e.g. PC) or IR emitter / receiver (not included) to the transmitter or receiver module and forward the signal to a remote location via HDBaseT Cat connection. Both devices feature IR input as well as IR output with two 3.5mm sockets each.
This allows the connected TV to be controlled from the source device's side while the source device can be controlled from the TV side at the same time. The convenient DIP switch on the front of both units allows the RS232 port to be switched between "Control" and "Update" functions. In "Control" position the RS232 port can be used the traditional way to forward RS232 signals.
In "Update" position the integrated Valens chipset can be programmed via PC.
