Do I need to regulate pH or EC values if I use PK 13-14 for my plants? When growing with PK13-14, it is important to regulate both the pH value and the EC value. The pH value is used to determine the rate at which the plant absorbs nutrients.
Tap water can vary in its pH and EC depending on where it is located. A nutrient solution should have a pH between 5.5 to 6.5. This pH value can be adjusted with pH Plus or pH Min, as well as Lemon Kick.
