Worn during all six moon landings, the OMEGA Speedmaster is one of OMEGA's most iconic watches. This special version takes its design inspiration from the 1957 original, and the collection's long history in flight. Its cockpit-inspired display has two subdials with opaline centres and brushed bevels.
At 3 o'clock, a 60-minute and 12-hour recorder, designed to look like a “burn rate” indicator. It includes a triangular matte-orange hand and transferred white numerals. At 9 o'clock, a Small Seconds display, designed to look like a target/sight indicator, featuring a varnished matte-yellow hand and artificial horizon in blue.
The hour/minute hands are PVD-coated matt black with blocks of white Super-LumiNova with green emission. The central chronograph hand has a varnished orange airplane tip. This Speedmaster Pilot has a brushed flat-links steel bracelet with OMEGA’s patented screw and pin system.
Providing the power is OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900. The watch is presented in a special travel pouch with strap-changing tool and NATO strap made with KEVLAR® threads.
