Akasha II women is the technical and aesthetic redesign of Akasha, the shoe from the La Sportiva Mountain Running® collection dedicated to endurance competitions, perfect for long-distance runs, ultra-marathons, ultra-trails, and intense training. The comfort of the fit comes from the cushioning, thanks to the Cushion Platform™ insole insert and spacious internal volumes, as well as the soft, breathable, and enveloping upper constructed with a Slip-on system to avoid pressure points during running.
The active Dynamic ProTechTion™ reinforcements at the front provide protection and structure while dynamically conforming to the foot's movement without restrictions. The sticky, dual-compound FriXion® Red sole is equipped with the exclusive Trail Rocker™ solution, able to promote the natural "external heel - internal toe" movement of the foot while running. The laces and Ortholite® Hybrid insole are also made with recycled materials.
