The wool used is certified mulesing-free, a responsible and ethical choice that reflects our philosophy. Mulesing is a surgical practice involving the removal of strips of flesh and skin from the perianal area of merino sheep to protect them against infections caused by flies laying their eggs there. This practice is done without anaesthesia or antibiotic treatment, and it does not always protect the animal from infections.
