The Bulb Brass LED table lamp is part of the Bulb series of lights that made Ingo Maurer world-famous in 1966. The original Bulb table lamp is still regarded today as a classic of lighting design and has found its place in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, where it can be admired daily by countless visitors.
This new version is crafted from high-quality brass, which develops a patina over time. This is an aesthetic change to the untreated surface brought about by the passage of time and daily use. The patina ensures that each light becomes a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.
Both the base and the lampshade are handcrafted. The lampshade is made from handblown Murano crystal glass, which envelops the dome-shaped mirrored traditional light bulb. Thanks to this special light source, the light is emitted elegantly and without glare, transforming the LED table lamp into a cosily glowing decorative object. (Suitable for E27 bulbs with a maximum of 100 watts) The shape of the Bulb Brass is modelled on the traditional light bulb.
The base of the table lamp forms the typical socket, upon which the lampshade sits flawlessly and elegantly, like a traditional light bulb.
