Sold with two types of washers, it's a versatile pole that can be used in summer and winter: - Summer washers: recommended for rough terrain, they help prevent your pole from getting stuck or breaking by wedging it in a crack or between rocks. - Winter washers (JIROL): wider in diameter, they allow for walking in powder snow and improve the pole's buoyancy. The flexibility of the washer guarantees optimal grip by adapting to the terrain's slope.
