Barefoot in nature, the Tundra is a shoe with a good level of waterproofing thanks to our superior microfiber material. It's a year-round shoe for more demanding hikes, including difficult trails, as well as for more casual use. The Tundra is 12 mm higher in the leg than the Mudee and features our new HillGrip outsole with a deeper profile for better grip in mud and on steep terrain.
The Tundra features our second-generation microfiber upper material, which performs similarly to premium leather, but dries faster. The height is 12 mm higher than that of the Mudee. The outsole is grippier than that of the Mudee, enabling it to perform well on steeper, more difficult trails, while being excellent on easy ones.
The fit is a little more generous than that of our older Freet models, but you'll probably need to go up a size from your "normal" size for the autres brands. - All our shoes are fully flexible, have a spacious toe box and are unlevelled (same height at front and heel) to allow natural movement. - Good level of waterproofing - breathable, durable, water-resistant and quick-drying upper made from our advanced hydrophobic microfiber - MicroF2.
Unlike leather, which tends to absorb water, our MicroF microfiber wicks it away (hydrophobic). - Waterproof and breathable lining - Asymmetrical 5-in-1 forefoot for a natural foot shape allowing the toes to extend naturally - Removable 2.5 mm Flexile ConnectComfort sole aids shock absorption while providing excellent connection to sol. A 5/6 mm OrthoLite outsole and RockPlate are available for purchase if you require further shock absorption and/or additional protection against sharp rocks. - Conventional lacing - The HillGrip outsole is ideal for trails, from easy terrain to steeper, wetter trails.
If elle is worn only on tarmac or concrete, this sole will wear out faster than our MultiGrip, but elle offers more grip on the trail than the MultiGrip. - Black and brown - Vegan - Cleat height: 10.5 mm with insole; 7.5 mm without insole
