The 840g Estwing Straight Claw Framing Hammer is the heaviest variant in the range, delivering maximum striking power for the most demanding framing applications. This heavy-duty option is ideal for professionals working with large-section timber, dense hardwoods, or driving substantial nails where power and efficiency are paramount, reducing the number of strikes needed per nail. Featuring Estwing's signature one-piece forged steel construction, this hammer provides unmatched durability by eliminating the weak point inherent in traditional two-piece designs.
The world-famous blue shock reduction nylon vinyl grip is bonded directly to the all-steel shaft during production, delivering exceptional comfort and dramatically reducing vibrations even under the heavy impacts this hammer generates. Specifically designed for framing work, the straight claw configuration and longer handle provide outstanding leverage for nail removal whilst maximising striking force. Made in the USA from high-quality steel, this professional-grade hammer represents the pinnacle of American tool manufacturing and is built to withstand decades of intensive use.
