The Draper Oxygen Flash Back Arrestor is a safety device designed to prevent dangerous flashbacks in oxygen gas lines during welding and cutting operations. This in-line arrestor provides essential protection for tradespeople working with oxy-fuel equipment, helping to safeguard both operators and equipment from reverse gas flow and flame penetration. The arrestor features a large sintered element that works in conjunction with a non-return valve to provide dual-layer protection.
This combination effectively blocks reverse gas flow whilst the flame arrestor element stops flashback propagation through the oxygen line. The unit is fitted with 3/8" BSP connectors, ensuring compatibility with standard oxygen regulators and torches used throughout the UK trade sector. Ideal for professional welders, metal fabricators, and contractors using oxygen-acetylene equipment, this arrestor is a crucial safety component for any oxy-fuel cutting or welding setup.
It's particularly suited for workshop environments and on-site applications where reliable gas system protection is essential.
