Dimlux Xtreme Series LED - NIR NIR means Near Infrared. NIR refers to red light made visible by a thermographic camera. Therefore, it is not visible directly to the naked eye.
It is no longer true that the theory that red light does not aid in photosynthesis has been disproven. Recent studies show that the total of the NIR and red spectrum can be greater or equal to each individual part. To work correctly, the near-infrared and red spectrum must be combined.
