The Blackedge Carpenters Pencils Soft are specialist marking tools designed for carpentry work on softwoods and newly felled timber. These professional-grade pencils feature an oblong section that can be sharpened to a chisel-shaped edge, eliminating the tendency of standard pointed pencils to follow the wood grain and ensuring accurate, controlled marking lines. Available in three colour-coded grades to suit different materials and applications, this soft (blue) grade is specifically formulated for use on softwoods and freshly cut timber where a softer lead provides optimal marking performance.
The chisel edge design allows carpenters to mark precise lines for cutting, jointing and assembly work, whilst the oblong profile prevents the pencil from rolling off angled work surfaces. Supplied as a card of 12 pencils, this bulk pack provides excellent value for professional carpenters, joiners and contractors who require reliable marking tools throughout their projects. The soft lead grade makes these pencils ideal for construction sites, joinery workshops and timber yards where softwood materials predominate.
