The Blackedge Carpenters Pencils Hard are professional marking pencils designed specifically for hardwoods, brickwork and plastered walls. Featuring an oblong section that can be sharpened to a chisel-shaped edge, these hard-grade carpenter's pencils eliminate the tendency of pointed pencils to follow the grain, ensuring accurate marking on demanding surfaces. Supplied in a convenient card of 12, these green hard-grade pencils are part of the Blackedge three-grade system, which also includes red medium and blue soft variants for different materials and applications.
The harder lead composition makes these pencils ideal for tradespeople working with tough substrates where softer pencils would wear too quickly or produce unclear marks. Whether you're marking out on hardwood timber, scoring lines on brick for cutting, or laying out measurements on plastered surfaces, these carpenter's pencils deliver consistent, visible marking performance across challenging materials.
