The rectangle works best with photos taken in vertical (portrait) orientation, with the subject's face filling a comfortable portion of the frame. Wide group shots and landscape orientations are better suited to the heart shape for romantic close-ups or a cube shape for 360° viewing of group photos.
What sizes are available for the rectangle crystal? The rectangle 3D Memory Crystal comes in five sizes: Small, Medium, Large, XL, and Max. Size guidance: a single face engraves well at any size; two faces work best from Medium and up; group portraits with three or more people should be Large or larger.

Horizontal landscape compositions can be engraved but the engraving area is shorter — for landscape orientations or wide group shots, the cube shape (visible on four faces simultaneously) is often a better fit. What's the difference between Standard and 4K HD engraving? Standard engraving produces a sharp, clear 3D image suitable for most photos.
