The arc's curve refracts ambient light around the engraving, lending the keepsake a quiet luminance even without a light base. What photo works best The arc favors portraits with one or two subjects — a couple, a parent and child, a single face you want to remember. A clear, well-lit photo in JPG or PNG format (ideally 2,000 px on the long edge or larger) gives the sharpest engraving.
Plain backgrounds engrave with more depth than busy ones. For wide group shots, the rectangle portrait crystal gives more room. For the most traditional romantic shape, the heart crystal is the classic choice.

The crystal is nested in custom-cut foam to survive transit.
If you add a Memory Light Base at checkout, it ships in the same box with its USB-C power cable. Crystal care K9 optical crystal is scratch-resistant and water-safe. Wipe with the included microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints.
