The Bailey 1779 Lockfast Double Worm Screw is a professional drain rod attachment designed for clearing stubborn blockages in drainage systems. This effective drain clearing tool pierces obstructions such as paper, rags and similar materials, allowing the blocked matter to be drawn back through the pipe to restore proper flow. Featuring a robust double worm screw design with a 50mm (2 inch) diameter, this attachment provides reliable performance when tackling common drainage blockages.
The Lockfast connection system ensures a secure fit to compatible drain rods, preventing detachment during use and allowing tradespeople to work with confidence when clearing blocked drains. Ideal for plumbers and drainage contractors dealing with soft blockages in domestic and light commercial drainage systems, the double worm screw configuration offers enhanced gripping action compared to single worm designs. The piercing action of the twin screws effectively engages with fabric-based obstructions, making this an essential attachment for professional drain clearing operations.
