The Bailey Drain Tracing Dye in Red (200g) provides high-visibility flow tracing with a dilution rate of 12-15,000 litres per jar. This 8-ounce jar delivers strong colour contrast that's particularly effective in darker drainage environments, making it a popular choice for underground pipe tracing and sewer investigations. The distinctive red colour is easily identifiable and won't be confused with naturally occurring substances in drainage systems.
For best application, dissolve the required amount into approximately five litres of water before adding to the flow or tank. This pre-dilution method ensures consistent colour distribution and reliable tracing results throughout your drainage network. This variant is particularly useful when multiple simultaneous tests are being conducted, as the red colour stands out clearly against other dye colours.
It's well-suited for medium to large drainage systems in both residential and commercial applications. Remember that dirty water will require increased dye concentration for optimal visibility.
